Powerful physical theatre fuelled by the body and mind

When teaching only theatre this is done in the dominant language of the student as we aim to go deeper in to the subject. We explore how movement, emotions and breath interact in your body and on the stage.
We draw on elements of Biomechanics, Jacques Lecoq, Decroux, gestalt, body psychotherapy and neuroscience to investigate the full potential of the expression of the body and mind together on stage. We also explore the impediments to this.
I teach an experiential day of acting training, focusing on the connection with the body and its expression on the stage. This work draws on elements of physical theatre, dance, gestalt, neuroscience and body psychotherapy.
